Hike: Anthony Chabot Regional Park, Oakland
This is a challenging 3.8 mile loop with a 788’ elevation gain.
Directions: Take Hwy. 580 to the 98th Ave. exit in Oakland and turn east onto Golf Links Rd. Travel to the road’s intersection with Grass Valley Rd. and follow Grass Valley to Skyline Blvd. Bear right to park in the small lot. Wear hiking boots and bring a picnic lunch and blanket (no tables). |

Family Camp Trip |
12th Annual Family Camping Trip at the Petaluma KOA
It's time to register for the 12th annual East Bay Moms camping trip--this is the event you don't want to miss! We'll be staying in comfortable Kamping Kabins which each have one double bed and one twin bunk bed, a porch swing, electricity and locking doors at KOA in Petaluma. If you prefer, you can pitch a tent. KOA has a swimming pool, clean bathrooms & showers and lots of great activities for kids. After registering, you'll be notified of what to bring as we'll be sharing resources.
Fee is $225 for a private Kamping Kabin (sleeps 4) or $125 to pitch a tent. To register, send a check to East Bay Moms, 6000 Contra Costa Road, Oakland, CA 94618. Please include your name as well as the names of other family members attending, address, phone number and email address. Note: Only current and former East Bay Moms members and their families may attend this event. |

Peter Pan |
“Peter Pan” & Dinner at Woodminster Amphitheater, Oakland
We’ll meet at 6:30pm for a potluck dinner followed by the 8:00 performance of “Peter Pan” at this great outdoor theater located in beautiful Joaquin Miller Park. Visit the faraway world of Never-Never Land, a magical place filled with pirates, fairies, and mermaids while you enjoy familiar songs and characters. Adult tickets are $35 and for each paid adult, you can bring a child for free!
To order tickets, send a check with your phone number and email address to East Bay Moms, 6000 Contra Costa Road, Oakland, CA 94618 to be received by July 10th. You will receive a confirmation with directions and your dinner assignment.

Gymboree in El Cerrito Plaza
Enjoy 90 minutes of open play followed by songs and bubbles.
Directions: From Hwy. 80 eastbound, bear left on 80 at the 80/580 split and exit at Central Ave. Turn right at the end of the exit ramp, stay in the right lane and turn right onto Carlson. Follow Carlson into El Cerrito Plaza. Turn right at Longs and left at the end of the buildings. To the right of Trader Joe’s, take the elevator to the 2nd floor of the mezzanine offices and proceed around the right to Suite 704.
Admission is $4/child EBM members; $6/child non-members; free/adults. |

Family Night: Concert & Family Picnic, Orinda Community Park
Bring your entire family, a picnic dinner and blanket and enjoy a free rhythm & blues concert performed by Juke Joint.
Directions: Take Hwy. 24 to the Orinda exit and go north on Camino Pablo. Turn right onto Santa Maria Way and left onto Orinda Way. The park is on the right at 26 Orinda Way. Note: The concert begins at 6:30, but parking fills up quickly, so it’s best to arrive early.

Stroller Walk |
Stroller Walk: Lake Merritt, Oakland
This is a flat, paved three mile loop in the heart of Oakland.
Directions: Take Hwy. 580 to the Grand Ave. exit. Turn right onto Grand and turn left onto the second Bellevue; the entrance to Children’s Fairyland. Proceed past the kiosk to Perkins. Park near the intersection of Bellevue and Perkins and meet by the totem pole in front of the Nature Center. Bring a picnic lunch and blanket (to tables). We’ll have lunch at a nice playground adjacent to the lake. |

Stroller Walk |
Stroller Walk: Lake Chabot, San Leandro
We’ll walk for 60 minutes on this flat, paved trail.
Directions: From Hwy. 580 eastbound in San Leandro, take the 150th/Fairmont Dr. exit. Go through the first light at 150th Ave. and at the next light, turn left onto Fairmont Dr., which becomes Lake Chabot Rd. Continue 0.1 miles and turn left into the Lake Chabot Marina parking area. Parking is $5/car (exact change required) in the lot, or free on Lake Chabot Rd. Note: This walk will begin promptly at 6:30 to be completed before dark. |

Hike: Joaquin Miller Park, Oakland
We’ll hike a moderately difficult 4 mile loop with one steep climb.
Directions: From Hwy. 13, take the Joaquin Miller Rd./Lincoln Ave. exit and go east (uphill) on Joaquin Miller Rd. 0.8 miles to the second Sanborn Dr. at the Woodminster Amphitheater entrance. Park on Joaquin Miller Rd. and meet at the yellow gate by the Woodminster sign. Wear hiking boots and bring a picnic lunch.
